Meet the Team

  • Richard Williams , Veterinarian

Dr. Williams graduated with Honors from the University of Florida, College of Veterinary Medicine in 1981. After moving to Jacksonville and working in a private practice for a year and a half, he decided owning his own practice was the way to go. Thus Hidden Hills Animal Hospital opened its doors in January of 1983.

Dr. Williams has always been very active in the Veterinary Community. He has served as the President of the Jacksonville Veterinary Medical Society in 1986 and was nominated as "Veterinarian of the Year" in 1991. Currently, Dr. Williams is the District Board Representative to the Florida Veterinary Medical Society for Northeast Florida. In 2010, Dr. Williams was awarded Florida Veterinarian of the Year!

Being married with 4 children, a dog, cat, fish, and a bird, in the house doesn't leave much time for extracurricular activities. But when he is not involved with his family, church or work, you will find Dr. Williams fishing offshore the Jacksonville coastline, weather permitting of course.

  • Dr. Glenn Davis , Veterinarian

Dr. Davis graduated with Honors from the University of Florida, College of Agriculture in 1983. After several years of hard work and dedication, Dr. Davis also earned his degree in Veterinary Medicine. In June of 1987, about a week out of Grad school, Dr. Davis decided to start his career here at Hidden Hills Animal Hospital.

Dr. Davis is a part of various Veterinarian organizations such as: Jacksonville Veterinary Medical Society and the American Veterinary Medical Association. Considering Dr. Davis' mother raised and showed Maltese's, having animals was always a part of his life. Currently, Dr. Davis has 1 wonderful lab, 1 cat and fish.

Dr. Davis has been married for 22 years and has a son who is 20 and a daughter who is 15. When he is not at work, Dr. Davis enjoys spending time with his family and participating in church activities. On a sunny day, Dr. Davis is either fishing, boating, playing tennis, or at the local park playing softball.

  • Dr. Stephen Hart , Veterinarian

Dr. Stephen Hart graduated from the University of Florida, College of Veterinary Medicine in May 2001. Soon thereafter, he joined Hidden Hills Animal Hospital where he has a special interest in avian and exotics as well as domestic animals.

Dr. Hart has been a member of the Board of Directors for the Wildlife Rescue Coalition of Northeast Florida since 2002. Recently, he provided emergency care for 3 Bald Eagles and a Mississippi Kite here at our Hospital, for the Maitland Florida based Audubon Center for Birds of Prey.

Dr. Hart also provides emergency veterinary services for the First Coast Animal E.R. On one particularly busy night shift, a special trauma patient arrived in the E.R. Animal control thought her injuries were too severe for her to survive, but losing her wasn't an option for Dr. Hart. Now, fully recuperated from her injuries, Summer Sunshine lives with Dr. Hart, where she is loved and spoiled.
  • Kristen , Office Manager

Kristen graduated from Florida Atlantic in 2006 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Social Psychology. Soon after graduation, Kristen was married to her high school sweetheart of 7 years, and was quick to start her new family when her and her husband got "Rusty Red," a Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever. "Rusty", of course, is not her first animal. Considering Kristen's father is a Veterinarian, she has always grown up with all sorts of animals. In 2009, Kristen was able to adopt, Teal which is "Rustys" sister. Having two Duck Tollers is constantly keeping her busy. Although she has a love for animals, Kristen finds her true passion in helping people.  Kristen enjoys her duties here at Hidden Hills Animal Hospital: Helping the clients, supervising the staff, assisting the doctors, and caring for the animals.
